WHY A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER?
It is our belief that Photography is perhaps the most important of all the services you hire and it should be a dedicated professional who takes care of this for you, not a cousin, friend, uncle or novice. If your wedding photos do not work out properly, it is gone forever and it is not worth the risk for the lure of a cheap alternative. It is the equivalent of getting your Aunt to do the catering. We have heard literally hundreds of horror stories about Groupon deals, people with a digital camera who advertise as Photographers with little or no experience of controlling a wedding. If your photographs are not professional it will be a lifelong regret.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE’S AN EQUIPMENT FAILURE?
We use high quality cameras and flashes and carry spare everything, even down to batteries. We even have a replacement Photographer ready as well in the event of an unforeseen problem or sickness!!!
DO YOU DO VIDEO & PHOTOBOOTHS?
No, we believe Photography is a big enough job without trying to complicate it with videoing as well or adding gimmicks to make our work seem more attractive. A dedicated professional should be employed for your Photography and your Videography if you are opting for a video and not a combination that actually takes up more of your time . We can recommend Videographers who do not take up lots of your time & have similar approaches to ourselves and would be happy to give you details. Similarly with photobooths we can recommend some suppliers if you are looking for one for your evening guests.
HOW LONG DO WE WAIT BEFORE OUR PICTURES ARE READY?
Your Photographs are ready within two weeks of the wedding and will be available for viewing on the big screen in our office. This is because we work at this full time and will have them professionally edited and ready for presentation in that timescale. Because we take the Photographs properly in the first instance, we do not need to Photoshop the images or correct any problems that should have been taken care of at the time. We frequently hear about photos taking 6 months or more to be presented and to be honest that is ridiculous. Your online gallery will be ready within a couple of weeks and we will not make them available for your guests to see until you have viewed them in the privacy of our office on the big screen slideshow (popcorn available on request). We believe you should be the first to see your pictures and the slideshow of the images is worth the money alone as you re-live for the first time your special moments of the day.
DO WE GET COPYRIGHT TO OUR PHOTOS AND ARE THEY WATERMARKED?
We give you full copyright to all your photographs and always have done from starting out in 1999 in the old days of film. We were the first that we know of to offer this as part of our packages. When we started out, NOBODY gave the copyright to their clients. It is more common now but everyone has Natural Weddings to thank for that. We will give you all the images in both High & Low resolution with full copyright to reproduce prints as you see fit, there is no watermark on the images. The Low res files are suitable for email, Facebook and general computer use.
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE GET?
We will present you with all the good photos from the day and will not restrict the amount you are finally presented with. Equally, we do not inflate the number by giving you lots of duplicates of the same pictures ie 8 of the same group shot. We will edit out the photos & present you with the best ones. Depending on the length of coverage, the amount of photos is normally between 250-600 maximum. If anyone offers you unlimited photographs, run in the other direction is our advice.
HOW LONG DO WE WAIT FOR OUR ALBUM?
Your album will be individually designed with your favourite Photographs as the feature pages. From you choosing your pictures, we will have a preview of them ready within one week and from agreeing the layout and design with any changes you would like at our office in the preview, it will be no more than two weeks in production as they are developed locally.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL THERE BE ON THE DAY?
There will be only one Photographer present on the day unless you had a specific request for two. This however, in our opinion and experience is unnecessary for a couple of reasons. The style of Photography that we specialise in and have developed over the years looks to capture lots of spontaneous moments, which is normally what a second Photographer would be looking to do while the other was taking formal shots. We discuss in fine detail any required photos you have so there is no excuse for us not capturing any photos you would like included. Part of what we are looking to achieve on the day is to be in the background and unobtrusive. To allow us to do this one Photographer is better, a second Photographer wouldn’t be doing anything we are not doing already. In the instances when we have used two Photographers at the clients request, if we are being honest there was no real difference in the final presentation and your money would be better spent on upgrading your albums or on something else. We can however provide another Photographer on request.
WHAT IF WE NEED LOTS OF FORMAL SHOTS?
No problem, we will discuss in detail all the photos you require the week before the wedding and if you want lots of family group shots to keep everyone happy, we will arrange for all of these to be taken. Most people who book with ourselves have around 15 formal groups shots and we will look to get these done professionally and quickly, while ensuring you get quality time with your guests.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes we have professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Our insurance will cover any problems surrounding our Photography although it is always advisable to have your own wedding Photography insurance for things other than our Photography.
WHEN IS PAYMENT REQUIRED AND DO THE PRICES INCLUDE VAT & TRAVEL?
Payment is due until one week before the wedding and we will confirm the details of your package a couple of weeks before when we present your final invoice. All our prices are inclusive of VAT and our Vat registration number will be on your Invoice. Travel expenses may be applicable for certain venues not considered as local but they pretty much just cover petrol & travel time. When applied they are not an expensive addition.

WHAT COVERAGE DO YOU OFFER?
The basic minimum coverage starts with Bridal preparations through the ceremony and reception until your called through for your wedding breakfast however these days most couples want all day coverage including speeches and first dance.
CAN WE GET A PRE-WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT?
Yes, we are happy to offer you a pre-wedding shoot this allows you to get to know your photographer and feel more comfortable on your wedding day.

If you have seen and heard enough and want Natural Weddings to take care of your Photography. All we need is the basic the Booking Form and a deposit of £150.00 payment
